Action Plan
Step 1: Go to a school board meeting to familiarize ourselves with the policy-making process.
Step 2: Address the school board members about our plan for cumulative Finals during the non-agenda public forum and analyze public and school board response to understand who will be our supporters and opponents.
Step 3: Get widespread support for the policy change.
Step 4: Address the non-supporters’concerns and explain the strengths of cumulative Finals.
Step 5: Send the proposal to the Board of Education's Curriculum and Policy committees to be debated and revised then, hopefully, put on the agenda and brought to a full board meeting. Then, our plan can finally be put into action.
